Teaching By Day, Knitting By Night!
As the end of the semester begins to approach, I decided that this week would be a good time to revisit some of the free inquiry questions that I created at the beginning of my free inquiry and see what light I may be able to shed on them and what new questions I have.
This weekend, I was able to get outside and help my mom with planting her spring garden!
Our cohort was lucky enough to have a guest lecture on inquiry based learning recently presented by Trevor MacKenzie. After this lecture I found myself thinking of different ways to incorporate inquiry based learning in primary classrooms and the benefits that this could bring to students.

Have you ever wondered how to knit and purl? Here I will show you a few of the basics to knitting aswell as how to make a bobble!
One of the perks of online learning is that you can learn from anywhere. For me this has meant that over the course of the semester I have been able to be closer to many members of my family including my Mom and Nan.
The knitting has officially begun. The yarn has been chosen, a knitting bag has been selected and the tools of my notions bag has been organized.
Knitting a garment takes time. Often a project bag ends up being left alone with a lonely half started project waiting to be picked back up. Often the project is left there till the pile up of school and life subsides enough to then pick up the deserted bag to again be knit. Continue reading “One Stitch at a Time”
